International Festival of Vídeo and Dance is a project fully dedicated to disseminating, experimenting, creating and producing different possibilities in this relationship between video and dance. It was founded in 2003 in Rio de Janeiro as the 1st Brazilian event focused on this theme/subject/area/field.

Our central axis is the International Videodance Selection (MIV) one of the world’s most important dance platforms conceived for the screen, where we have presented over 2000 videos from numerous places and of many different styles. Its schedule includes performances, installations, exhibitions, multimedia shows, residencies, workshops, short-term courses, lectures and debates.
