Mar Garrido has a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Granada. Her artistic activity focuses on photography and video creation.

She has worked as creative in TVE, making headers and specials programs chain linked to the film. Actuallly, she teaches Audiovisual Projects at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Granada.
It has made eighteen solo exhibitions and participated in video art festivals and fairs in Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Buenos Aires and Finland. Some of them are: Cinema Jove (Valencia), International Exhibition of video poetry (Buenos Aires), Loop (Barcelona), Estampa (Madrid), Biennale of Contemporary Art in Izmir (Turkey or International Video Art Festival in Camagüey (Cuba).
