Since she was vetry young, Máriel started to study drawing and painting in the Art School "Armando Reverón" located in her home town, Barcelona, Venezuela, participating in many collectives art exhibitions.
She moved to Madrid, Spain in 2007 to continue her art studies, doing decorative arts, illustration and then a Master in Post Production & Editing Digital Video, starting to work in video art projects and looking forward to participate in festivals, like she did with her first personal work [Interferencias] in the Bang festival, ob-art productions.
