Sylvie Bussières questions the basic principles of sculpture working directly with "poor" materials. Recently she has been using photography and video on these sculptural creations to reveal new aspects invisible until now. In this way she creates a reappraisal of the different qualities of the material: form, light, movement, sound... In 2003, with the collaboration of Cristina Fernandez she makes three videos to accompany her series Jardin de Momies : "Girafe", "Les Utiles-Inutiles" and "Les Inutiles de verre".
