PROTOCLIP, one of the world’s only festivals dedicated to independent music video, celebrates its 5th edition. PROTOCLIP has a twofold purpose: first to bring to light the artistic vision and creation of the video clip and also to discover and make public the work of emergent/rising independent directors. This year’s regional spotlight highlights music videos of Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland). Protoclip programming includes showcases by top French production companies, live music concerts and workshop/roundtables with Music Video professionals. The festival will also feature its centerpiece: an independent music video competition with juried prizes.
