"Kinesfera" shows the spectator the virtual lines that appear around the dancer created by the tridimesional movements of axis, plane, and direction which are defined by both projection and brushstroke.
We are in search of both aesthetic expression and abstraction through the examination of form, composition, and bruskstroke.
The choreography inspires a drawing in the horizonal plane as a bidimensional projection of the dancer's movements. The resulting visual work will facilitate new choreography created by the image itself, thus forging a mutual connection between the creator and the work.
"Draw," the video-dance, is a work in progress which values the process as much as the result. We aspire to define the choreography through calculated improvisation over predefined standards as well as through trial and error.
