This video was completely recorded with a Nokia N8 mobile phone. for the Nokia’s N8 Producers Contest. Nokia sent me a N8 mobile phone for two weeks to use it to make a video on behalf of the mobile website Wayerless.com, where I am an editor.Catrina's Afternoon is an urban walk through Barcelona's downtown. The main idea was to use the phone to record in different indoor and outdoor scenes with no control of the light, as it is when the phone is used to record a video spontaneously. The N8 was working automatic to do the whitebalance, exposure and focus.Catrina is a mexican folkloric character that's usually related to death and criticizes the mexican hight society of the 19th Century. The doll in the video is just one example of how a Catrina can be represented.
